Our Story
Founded in 1994, CET Central European Translations began as a regional network dedicated to supporting communication across Central and Eastern Europe. Over time, the company has expanded its global footprint and currently operates through offices in Romania, Hungary, and Germany, successfully serving clients across the entire continent and beyond.
Our mission is to provide reliable, high-quality language solutions, creating a high-performance communication bridge between Western European markets and those in Central and Eastern Europe. We offer a comprehensive range of services, with a strong focus on website and software localization, desktop publishing (DTP), as well as document translation and interpreting (on-site, remote, and over-the-phone).
Our extensive technological expertise is recognized at the highest level in the industry. Following a collaboration that began in 2004, CET underwent a rigorous management and process audit, becoming in 2007 the first certified SAP translation partner for the English-Romanian language pair. This elite accreditation confirms our superior competence in software localization, a status further consolidated since July 2010 by joining the SAP Language Service Partner Track within the global SAP PartnerEdge program.
To optimize delivery turnarounds and maintain impeccable accuracy in our projects, we utilize world-renowned tools. Our technological integration ranges from top-tier translation memory tools (CAT tools) to the latest technologies based on Artificial Intelligence (AI), used as an intelligent support within the workflow of our localization and translation projects.
Quality assurance remains the fundamental pillar of our approach. All projects are carried out exclusively by native-speaking professionals with university degrees and proven technical expertise in their respective fields. Each translation undergoes an independent review to guarantee absolute accuracy, consistency, and full compliance with professional standards.
